Communication is a Virus: Research - Students

For part of the research I am looking into for my group project, I am looking into how students can benefit each other during their time at Uni. By doing this hopefully people will be more inclined to give away their time to help another. It doesn't have to be a charity such as; Oxfam, Scope etc. but a base where students can focus on giving without the need for money.

This is a website page for the Edinburgh Students Charities. As you can see it's focus is on getting students to help out raising money for charity organisations. I think this approach needs to be altered as not everyone can help, when it's hard for them to help themselves.

  • We run a variety of events throughout the year that all students can take part in and raise money for charity.
  • We can help you organise your own fundraising events, offering advice on everything from setting up Facebook Events to any legal issues you might come across.
  • We support student chartiable societies through access to our fundraising materials and money counting facilities.
  • We also offer student charitable societies advice and support on everything from the latest updates in charity law to helping they set up their own charity.
  • We organise training programmes for student fundraisers, such as the ESCA Conference.
