As the object I've been given is ham, I want to create an eye chart in the form of meat cuts. This seems like the most appropriate and effective way in doing so, to me anyway. Below is an Illustration I have done of a pig, also over layered by the outline and cuts.
Next step is to trace around each of the images with a graphics tablet, this will allow me to apply them to an eye chart.
