Initially I did not want to work with digital design work for this brief, but to save time and also make everything much sharper, this seems like the most appropriate design option at the moment. As Curses are a hardcore band, I have designed logo ideas surrounding the already existing style of work. Focussing directly with blackletter type, but also a symbolic moon shape, representative of a direct relation to the term curse.
After experimenting with some potential designs, I have chosen one that I feel fits the design work appropriately with no over-exaggeration of detail. After finalising an idea I have taken it into photoshop and added texture, with colour to the type work.
