Taking a look at the content within a Munnyworld vinyl toy, one of the items that came with it, was a 'Hello my Name is' card, essentially it's purpose was to give the customised toy a name once created. As this sticker is worldwide known for it's general purpose within retail stores, it also proved iconic inside Graffiti & Street art as part of an essential tool kit.
VECTORS -
Without realising, I have basically created a set of keyframes to work with. Double purpose really, what I am going to quickly do now is play around with potential pieces of type/tags that could be relevant to the context in which it lies in.
SKETCHES -
Obviously the best way to start is to create a visualisation of ideas. Here are a few examples of type placement, weight, colour, stroke and point size. To keep in rhythm with the context of my top ten, I have tried to make the letterforms as playful as possible, also incorporating a key hand drawn style to sketches.
